💌 DEAR SHY STAR’S FUTURE FAMILY…

We don’t know who you are, where you live, or why you haven’t found her yet. But we need you to know this:

She’s waiting for you. ❤️

Shy Star has been with us for over a year. Somehow, this approximately 5-year-old girl is still waiting for someone to see everything we see in her.

When you meet her, she may not show you her whole heart right away. She can be cautious at first, especially with men, and needs patience and time to feel safe.

Please give her that time.

Because once you’re one of her people, you’ll understand why we love her so much.

You’ll get ridiculous wigglebutt greetings. 🥹 You’ll discover how much she LOVES food—including veggies. 🥕 You’ll watch her zoom around the yard and happily destroy the peace with squeaky toys.

And we hope you’re ready for adventures.

Shy Star is a TOTAL adventure dog. 🏕️🐾

She wants walks, hikes, car rides, exploring, new smells and new places. She wants to be your sidekick.

And when the adventure is over? She’ll be just as happy snuggling with her people. ❤️

A few things to know: She’s dog friendly, but cats aren’t her thing. She’s still working on crate training and may bark or whine briefly before settling, so apartment living probably isn’t her best fit.

She isn’t perfect.

But she doesn’t need you to be perfect either.

She needs someone patient and kind—someone who will give her stability and help her understand she isn’t going anywhere again.

So, Shy Star’s future family…

🐾 MEET SISKEL (SIZZLE)! 🐾

Sizzle is a handsome 10-month-old, 55-pound brindle boy looking for his forever home!

This smart, affectionate, and playful pup is crate trained, potty trained, and knows several commands, including sit, down, paw, and wait. He's food motivated, eager to learn, and loves spending time with his people!

Sizzle can be selective with other dogs, so a meet and greet is required. He would do best in a home with older children (12+) and a family committed to continuing his training and helping him thrive.
